StrengthsFinders: Leveraging Individual Strengths to Build a Team
Pablo Picasso once said, “talent without technique is merely bad habit.” This session is for those who have done work in Gallup’s StrengthsFinder and want to go deeper, exploring their strengths in the context of team. We will explore our personal strengths, how we show up to others, and what happens when strengths are overutilized, or underutilized. From there, we will discuss how to use a team’s strengths to manage, develop, coach and motivate a strengths-based team. This session is all about leading with others. Whether you are a manager of a team, a project lead, or work regularly in matrixed or cross-functional teams, this session will give you insights and strategies to use your strengths to their greatest effect and partner with others for success.
In this session, participants will:
• Deepen their understanding of their own strengths and how those strengths interact with others.
• Explore their team’s strengths, behaviors and the needs they have from a leader.
• Discuss ways to invest in others’ strengths and enable them to do what they do best.
