This summer, the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce is exploring innovative approaches to workforce development by highlighting often-overlooked talent pools and pathways to employment. Join us as we learn from local experts who are helping to expand opportunity and strengthen our regional workforce.

Join the Chamber alongside LTC Chad Holder and CSM James Riddle, U.S. Army, Fort McCoy for an important regional conversation surrounding military-friendly employment and workforce readiness. This session will explore how employers can become part of a growing effort to position Greater La Crosse as a welcoming, military-friendly community.

Attendees will learn:

  • Why military spouses represent an untapped workforce asset
  • Common employment barriers faced during relocation
  • Best practices for military-friendly hiring and retention
  • Ways businesses can help strengthen talent attraction and retention across the region

Whether you are an HR professional, business owner, nonprofit leader, educator, or hiring manager, this session will provide practical tools and connections to help strengthen your workforce while supporting those who serve alongside our military community.
