Full-Time Collector in Sparta

1st Community Credit Union is searching for the right individual to assist our members with their financial needs. The expectations of this position are to optimize collections on accounts while balancing the goodwill of members with the overall business interests of the credit union. This is done through phone calls, emails and face to face conversations with our members. The position will work with individuals to set their budgets so payments can be afforded, follow up with the payment plans that have been established, and assist with financial counseling when needed. In addition, the selected candidate has the opportunity to learn the legal side of our business by working through any legal efforts needed to recover the debts. This is a great opportunity for someone who has prior banking/credit union experience and would like to learn another side of the business. If you are an individual that likes to help people, can work within specific guide lines, has good communication skills and has an attention to detail you may want to consider applying and hear more about this position.
