Full-Time Technology Specialist II - Sparta office
1st Community Credit Union seeking a Technology Specialist II for a new position in our growing Operations Department. The Technology Specialist II will be based out of our Sparta office, but will assist employees in all of 1st CCU's locations. Installs, upgrades, and maintains computer hardware and peripheral equipment. Assists in technology needs with outsourced vendors for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Provides technical support and consultation for workstations, assists with troubleshooting, repair, and installation. Responsible for developing, testing, recommending, and implementing workstation applications and processes. Oversees phone system & email system, maintains inventory of IT hardware and software, monitors backup, security management, user account management, and VPN access.
Qualified candidates will need to have an Associate's degree in a computer-related field and/or 4 years of relevant experience at a financial institution. Requires special technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of software and network support for a credit union. Proven ability to understand installation, configuration and troubleshooting processes, work independently, and have strong communication and training skills to include being able to communicate technical information to non-technical users. Knowledge of Symitar Episys core processing system, SQL and PowerOn knowledge is a plus. Valid WI driver's license required.
