2019 Adolescent Health Symposium

University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and University of Wisconsin-La Crosse have joined together to host the 2019 Adolescent Health Symposium. Together, we engage in this annual gathering of educators, youth workers, and health and human service professionals to focus and address key topics in the areas of health education and adolescent wellness.

           •  The Intersectionality of Culture and Trauma
           •  Positive Psychology Strategies
           •  Addressing Adolescent Gambling and Problem/Addictive Gambling
 
     2.  Health Promotion and Protection Factors
           •  Cultivating Resilience in Traumatized Youth
           •  Preventing Suicide Contagion In Your School:
              Effective Postvention for Prevention

           •  You Are the Key to Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Cancer Prevention
           •  Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse for the Mandated Reporter

           •  Emerging Drug Trends and What Can You Do About It
           •  Whole School, Whole Child, Whole Community
           •  Task-Based Education
