SPECIAL INFORMATIONAL EVENT-How Business Leaders Can Help Grow Educational Opportunity

Join us for a special informational event in partnership with the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce (MMAC) to learn about a new federal K-12 scholarship tax credit program created by Congress that is set to launch in 2027.
The program allows taxpayers to receive a dollar-for-dollar federal tax credit of up to $1,700 by directing funds to qualified Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs). Rather than sending their tax dollars to the federal government, taxpayers can redirect a portion of their federal tax liability to an SGO, directing funds to non-profits that support students in their own communities. Eligible students attending public, charter, or private schools may use scholarship funds for tutoring, technology, instructional materials, transportation, extracurricular activities, and private school tuition.
Learn how Pay It Forward Wisconsin, an MMAC-established Scholarship Granting Organization, aims to expand educational opportunities and support student success across Wisconsin, allowing donors to direct funds to a specific public, charter, or private school or support high-performing schools serving lower-income students.
