Across our region, talented individuals are working hard to overcome barriers, build new futures, and contribute meaningfully to our workforce. 

Join the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce for the first session in our Untapped Talent Summer Series, featuring Mac Kiel and Colin Walsh of Project Proven, a nationally recognized program at Western Technical College that supports justice-involved students as they pursue education, career pathways, and long-term success.

Participants will learn how Project Proven prepares individuals for employment, hear firsthand about the strengths and skills these students bring to the workplace, and gain practical insights into creating pathways to opportunity within their organizations. The session will also feature an employer perspective on the value of hiring and supporting Project Proven participants.

Whether you work in human resources, supervise employees, own a business, lead a team, or simply want to better understand workforce opportunities in our region, this session will challenge assumptions, broaden perspectives, and introduce a workforce talent source that many employers may not have previously considered.
