Workforce Innovation Series: Developing Talent Through Partnerships With Goodwill North Central Wisconsin

Finding qualified employees is a challenge for many businesses. At the same time, individuals in our communities face barriers to employment that can prevent them from accessing training, developing new skills, and securing meaningful careers. What role can employers play in closing this gap? Join the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce and Goodwill North Central Wisconsin for an interactive session exploring how businesses can strengthen their talent pipelines by partnering with workforce development organizations to provide training, skill development, and employment opportunities.

Participants will learn about Goodwill NCW's employment services, including its Career EXCELerate program, which provides personalized career support and training in fields such as healthcare, manufacturing, transportation, and retail. The session will also introduce Goodwill NCW's Pathway Partner model, through which employers can offer workplace training opportunities or hire individuals who have completed career training programs. Participants will leave with actionable strategies for developing talent, expanding their recruitment efforts, and exploring workforce partnerships that support both business needs and sustained employment in our region.
